Weekly Research Log

This week I realised that my essay had no genuine conflict of views in there. I searched for debates in relation to The Han Dynasty and found a comparison between them and The Roman Empire. Although both civilisations are redeemed for their accomplishments, I will be arguing that The Han Dynasty has achieved more. My main idea will be that The Romans would always adapt their ideas, whilst The Hans created and promoted more.

So. My friends.

I greet you with good and bad news. The good news is that I have been immersing myself in my philosophy core topic which I have come to develop a strong passion for. The bad news is that I have decided to scrap my entire draft essay and remould my question to incorporate this Islamic influence on philosophy. My new question is as follows:

To what extent did the destruction of the Athenian Academy by Justinian 529 AD and the emergence of Islamic philosophy in the 8th century serve as a catalyst for the rebirth of Aristotelian thought, evident in Western intellectual development.

I have begun my paragraph structure for my essay as of today and plan to have the majority of my body paragraphs complete by the end of the long weekend.

By far the most productive week of research thus far, I have completed the Introduction as well as the first two body paragraphs of my Draft. Steps 1-5 that were competed throughout the process of this research task have been very helpful towards the completion of my essay. Overall, I can't wait to finish my research task and look forward to finding out more about the Celts.

The introduction i have made is complete. I am currently extensively working on the writing of all my bodies and have them ready by tonight. My revisionist historian paragraph and ancient historian paragraph is complete. Only a few more hours of work and proof reading.

I finished :/ . Now all i can do is prepare the essay itself for this Friday

This week I have circulated topic sentences and factual basis for each of my paragraphs. I have also been underway, reading through journal articles about specific dramas that represent components of Boadicea's character and figure in differing perspectives.

Today I have finished all of my annotated bibliographies, and am moving on to writing my actual essay. The time previously given for step 5 in class was one I utilised to actually plan each of my paragraphs. My ideas seem clear, and so, now I just have to type them into the computer. I'm hoping to be finished with the whole essay soon for it to be checked and refined.etc.

I started step 5 and half way through ive got feed back on my first facts and sources .Now i have to print out a page and highlight all dates that contribute to the Light House Of Alexandria

Step 5 is complete, I am on the verge of a mental breakdown due to my laziness. However I am powering through whatever I can an [plan to finish the entire Essay by this weekend. Hopeful the procrastination will not develop into doing nothing through this weekend. All i need is a few more of a developed 3rd body and to destroy this essay with an amazing perfect conclusion.
