Primary sources have opened up new insights for my research. I have discovered that many claims made towards the ancient Egyptian society is based on interpretation of painted archaeological sources, rather than direct primary documents or scripts. By analysing various primary archaeological sources, i have came to various conclusions that contradict or support prior claims. This has given my insight to a more accurate understanding of ancient Egyptian societies. Many of the less iconic primary sources that i studied show contradicting information to those that are more popular. This enables us to think that there were differing societies and groups of people in ancient Egypt. This gives us a deeper insight to the truth of the Egyptian societal reality.

Primary sources have opened up new insights for both my research and how I view specific aspects of the world. It has taught me that there may be many varying perspectives on a one topic and that it is necessary to assess all information and research the context of certain perspectives and thoughts as some people tend to be bias or state what is related to their own environment and society. This has been taken viewed from studying Primary Sources as it has showed me the present and in the moment thoughts of certain people and how the environment around them has affected their views.
